Evidence of an ever-shrinking iPhone 5 just keep popping up.

Stockpiles of nanoSIM chips – a chip 40 percent smaller than microSIM – were being accumulated by mobile operators in anticipation of the phone supporting the new technology.

Photos that surfaced Monday seem to support the operators’ suspicions and then some, reportedly showing a side-by-side comparison of nanoSIM chips and ejectable drawers found in the iPhone 4S and those supposedly coming to the iPhone 5.

The photos reveal a narrower SIM slot and a retooled insert for the new smartphone, expected to be revealed during a September 12 event.

Connect the iPhone 4S to the PC and install iphone file browser from here as we are using this to do the mods  or you can also download ifile in cydia to do the steps or a FTP program.

For Verizon:
Remove the file in System / Library / Carrier Bundles/iPhone/310VZW/carrier.plist.

Next edit the file called carrier.plist in  System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/20404/carrier.plist using a plist editor. Copy the file to the PC and then upload as in video once you changed the Data

Once you read the info  write the data to to the Rebel activation Card and edit only the MCC MNC of the IMSI you copied earlier so the MCC MNC matches the iphones original network.

So all Data should be same as the 02 sim   other than the first 5 or 6 digits of the if the IMSI get edited

So if like in this example the iphone 4s is locked on orange and the code is 234 33. replace the first 5 digits of the IMSI you copied of the 02 sim earlier

Step 4

Insert your CORRECTLY programmed Rebel Activation sim in to the locked iphone and Activate your iPhone using WIFI or Itunes.

Once Activation is completed you can now take out the Rebel Activation sim and Insert the Network simcard whose ICCID you used and this network simcard can be from any network provider. You can use that network simcard now in the iPhones and you never jailbroke your phone.

4. Run Sn0wbreeze, give it the iOS 5.0.1 .IPSW file

5. From the settings choose wisely the stuff you need. Go to Expert Mode for “preserve your baseband” option if you are a rebel micro sim user.

6. Wait for Sn0wbreezed to cook the custom iOS 5.0.1 file.

7. Open iTunes 10.5, connect your device and use “Shift + Restore” button and give it the custom iOS 5.0.1 beta 1 file you cooked earlier (should be on your desktop).

Remember, the baseband cannot normally be downgraded, however because Apple are signing the firmwares, and their associated basebands, it is possible, but only until normally after a week of the official release of 5.0.

Place your thumb on on top of the rebel and you will feel the springs on the pro sim adapters push down as you apply more pressure.

Make sure the rebel pro programmer has been plugged on to the USB port of the PCB and let it install the drivers itself using windows update and is the best way to let them auto configure.

Now Slide the green Pro sim adapter in to the pro programmer and run the software after you downloaded it and press Write Card. Card Takes about 30 seconds to program & If it does not show its programming or is writing to fast then thier is a connection error.

Remove the adapter and plug back in to the pro programmer and try agian and if still does not program then check the postion of the rebel micro sims on the adapter or use your thumb to apply more pressure to make a better connection.

When ever you plug the pro sim adapter in and then out of the readers the light will flash and then stay on. On Windows 7 systems when you plug the adapter in the reader you will see a message saying updating drivers and hear a noise alert.You can ignore this message and proceed by pressing write firmware as normal and this is a sign for you that the boot programming mode was found when you plugged the card in to the reader
